In this training, you will learn:
- Learn how to guide ANFT's Standard Sequence - A Powerful approach to nature connection
- Sequencing forest therapy invitations for maximum impact and benefit
- The heart-centered Way of the Guide approach
- The Language of Invitation to help create powerful connections with self and nature
- Somatic techniques for embodied awareness
- The pedagogy and fundamentals of nature connection
- Nature and forest therapy research and knowledge
- Trail awareness and safety -how to choose a forest therapy trail
- Getting to know your bioregion, its history, watershed, awarenesses and more
- Facilitation skills that promote an open environment for group sharing
- Expressive arts activities for forest therapy
- Competency standards: what a Forest Therapy Guide should know and be able to do
- Tips for successfully promoting your forest therapy offerings
The training is designed in a way that will gently guide you through all the steps and processes to integrate and deepen the learning in your head and in your body. Upon completion of this course you will be able to succesfully guide forest therapy walks within the framework of ANFT's guide certification training.

Matrícula / Tuition
The tuition for the six month core guide training program is $3350 USD.
The tuition for the four-day immersion is $495. Wait to pay until you are ready to register for a specific immersion. You will have two years from the completion of your core guide training to do the immersion. This price does not include lodging, meals nor transportation.
Other costs include payment for Wilderness First Aid training, which is required for Certification, and is provided by third parties. Prices range from $100 to $300.

Jackie es formadora y consultora empresarial de la Asociación de Terapia de Bosque y Naturaleza - Guías y Programas. Ella es una guía certificada de terapia de bosque capacitada en 2017 en Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, y desde entonces ha estado guiando regularmente en su comunidad. Ella es una de las primeras guías en guiar caminatas pioneras de forma remota a través de Zoom cuando la pandemia hizo que guiar en persona fuera inseguro durante muchos meses en 2020. Nacida y criada en China, Jackie llegó a los Estados Unidos en 1990 para obtener su doctorado en literatura estadounidense. Ella ha tenido una experiencia diversa en diversos campos como la enseñanza, la traducción, el marketing y la práctica como Contadora Pública Certificada. Uno de sus mayores placeres al guiar es presenciar el impacto positivo en el bienestar de los participantes, incluido el de su propio hijo autista.
La profunda conexión de Amanda con la naturaleza la ha apoyado a través de los muchos desafíos de la vida, incluidas múltiples transiciones profesionales y enfermedades críticas. Se sintió llamada a estar al servicio de la tierra en el 2006, pero le tomó muchos años y un camino sinuoso antes de encontrar la Terapia de Bosque, una práctica que resonaba profundamente con su llamado. Habiéndose formado como parte del Cohorte 18, Amanda ha sido una Guía Certificada de Terapia de Bosque y Naturaleza por laANFT desde 2017, cuando fundó Shinrin-Yoku Hong Kong, a través de la cual ha ofrecido más de 200 terapias de bosque y experiencias de conexión con la naturaleza, en persona y en línea para apoyar a los urbanitas ocupados a vivir viajes llenos de vida de regreso a casa a través de la reconexión con la naturaleza. Amanda está particularmente llamada a apoyar a las personas en transición y a las que enfrentan estrés crónico, y colabora extensamente con el sector empresarial, organizaciones ambientales y de conservación, el sector de servicios sociales e instituciones educativas. Amanda se siente honrada de ser mentora de guías en formación y la primera formadora de ANFT con sede en Asia. También es coach profesional certificada por la Federación Internacional de Coaches para la Transformación y practicante de yoga, mindfulness y taichi desde hace mucho tiempo.
